Utah National Parks comprise of eight national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, Grand Circle, Mesa Verde, and Grand Canyon.

Zion National Park

Zion National ParkZion National Park is the oldest among Utah National Parks. The park is renowned for its unbelievable canyons, which includes the ‘Narrows’. The park draws canyoneers from all over the globe. The possibilities for hiking are endless. The average number of visitors per year touches three million.

Bryce Canyon National Park

The park’s amphitheater gives rise to thousands of carved spires having different colors. The pink cliffs of the park are the result of millions of years wind and water activity. It is not merely a canyon, but comprises eastern slope of Paunsaguant Plateau.

Arches National Park

Arches National Park is home to the largest concentration of stone arches. The park comprises an arid desert. The sandstone forms include fins, pinnacles, spires, and balanced rocks. The park is spread over an area of 73000 hectares. The hiking trails of the park are particularly famous.

Capitol Reef National ParkCapitol Reef National Park

This park is characterized by sandstone formations, cliffs, and canyons. It also is home to a 100-mile long bulge within the earth’s crust known as Waterpocket Fold. The splendid shapes of the rock are due to erosion. The twisting canyons and massive domes are unique to the region. Also popular are the monoliths and spires of sandstone.

Canyonlands National Park

The park comprises vast expanses of rugged land. The park is replete with canyons and plateaus, which are caused by two large rivers: Colorado and Green. The roads of the park are highly challenging. In addition, there are plenty of white water rapids. The park offers excellent opportunities for hiking.

Grand Circle

Grand circleTours to Grand Circle begin and end in Utah. It offers a unique chance to visit all five national parks in the region. Tourists can visit each park at their own leisure. The American Southwest is renowned for its majestic scenery, red rock formations, and deep canyons.

Mesa Verde National Park

The park is located in southwestern Colorado. It is part of the Grand Circle and offers umpteen recreational activities. Some of the sites within park are important archaeologically and culturally. The ancient structures within the park are the most noteworthy in the country. The park provides valuable insights into the lives of the Pueblo community.

Grand Canyon National ParkHavasu Falls

This park is a jewel among those in the country. It stretches for more than 200 miles among the desert regions of northern Arizona. The park is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The important areas to visit include south rim, north rim, skywalk, Toroweap, and Havasu Falls.
